GRADE 2

El cocodrilo no sirve, es dragón

Author: Francisco Hinojosa

Illustrations: Rafael Barajas (El Fisgón)

Synopsis

Once, humans were the only ones who were dissatisfied with their own appearance, but now even animals act this way. With two stage scripts the author asks his readers (and their audiences) to consider the issue. In the first play, the animals paint their bodies and wear accessories. In the second, the animal village has been invaded by impostors. They have dared to impersonate General Pavo!

The body and its relationship to personality, as well as fashion and its implications are some of the key themes in these plays.
