With the help of a robot nanny, narrator of the frame story, the reader and Wendoline will read a couple of stories from a remote future. The first story tells how a group of boys managed to get rid of an extraterrestrial civilization that came to Earth with the dark purpose of taking over its natural resources. The second story is the curious tale of a girl who, in order to prevent the death of her dog, travels to the past, but she does not know that time is much more complex than she imagined. Two science fiction stories that allow us to reflect on where both the planet and its inhabitants are headed if society maintains its current pace of development.
