¡Es un zorro!

Author: Jairo Buitrago

Synopsis

The story of the friendship between a girl and a young fox from a traveling carnival. Her friends at school warn her of the danger: “It’s a fox!” Sly and cunning, as they’re portrayed in folktales, how could it be friends with a human? It doesn’t matter to her: the fox is good and even brings her gifts. But, oh my, where did it get them, if it only walks around at the carnival? She went to return all of the gifts given to her, as she thinks they were robbed, only to find out that the fox bought them with its own money because it works at the carnival.

This easygoing book invites readers to reflect on prejudice, including those reproduced in so-called high culture.
