Taka, a young peregrine falcon, left his home to escape the war and to see the world. Before leaving, he attached a red ribbon to the tree that was his home and another to his leg. He traveled the world, experiencing many adventures while growing large and strong. One day, in a thunderstorm, the ribbon was struck by a bolt of lightning, and Taka began to feel homesick. He began the long journey home and found the ribbon and his tree.
