In 1987, life was very different from what it is today. Janis was ten years old, and hoping to be a singer, she joined the choir at her school. Things didn’t quite go the way she planned; her out-of-tune voice block her from participating in a choral competition in the capital, all of whom makes her unhappy. In the meantime, she meets Mariana and her ailing pops, who mistakes her for his deceased wife and asks her to sing for him. That’s how Janis realized how much she enjoyed singing, even if it’s only in the shower.
