La cola de tlacuache y otros cuentos

Author: José Luis Trueba Lara

Synopsis

Compilation and adaptation of fantastic stories from the native peoples of what is now known as Mexico, all of them inspired by animals representative of the region or the folklore from which these stories emerged. The deer, the rabbit, the bat, the viper, the hawk, the buzzard and, of course, the opossum, populate these pages with humor and unexpected features. This collection of stories from pre-Hispanic tradition shows animals as complex characters, far from the tradition of Eurocentric fable.
