Synopsis

Compilation and adaptation of fantastic tales from the native peoples of what is now known as Mexico, all of which were inspired by trees and plants representative of the region or the folklore from which these stories emerged, as well as the agricultural work that came later. Naturally, the vegetable that figures most in the pesent work is the one that gives identity to the country. Compilation of tales from pre-Hispanic tradition that provides an approach to peasant life and the corn growth as fundamental symbolic activities.
