Life goes on as usual in the building where Oleandro works as a janitor, but his routine will be interrupted by a basket abandoned on the porch. The infant it contains will turn not only the protagonist’s life upside down, but also that of the hermits and solitary inhabitants of the building, who will be forced to remember some customs that they had already forgotten: greeting each other, looking at each other and talking.
